PIRI REIS MAP

It is the only part that remained from the 21 piece world map (chart) drawn on gazelle leather by Turkish Admiral Piri Reis (Navy Commander during Ottoman Empire) in 1513. Its original is exhibited in Topkapi Museum.

CAUCASUS REGION RELIEF MAP

Horizontal and vertical scales are 1:800 000 and 1:80 000 respectively. Colored, two parts, with size 140x144 cm, original frame, and writings in old Turkish. This relief map was produced in 1887 by lecturers in Military Academy, namely, Captain Halil Ibrahim (Lecturer of Surveying , Captain Hasan Behcet (Cartographer), Captain Ali Haydar (lecturer of Cartography), Captain Hasan Riza (Lecturer of Painting) and Sword Teacher Cavalry Lieutenant Sadik.

ANKARA CITY PLAN

It was produced in 1924 with 1:4.000 scale.

RELIEF MAP OF BOSPHORUS AND ITS VICINITY

This map was produced at a scale of 1:25.000 with 115x164 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This map was produced in 1891by Military Academy Lecturers, Major Halil Ibrahim and Captain Hasan Behcet.

RELIEF MAP OF KEVKEBAN CASTLE AND ITS VICINITY AT THE ISLAMIC HOLY LAND

Color relief map of Kevkeban Castle, which is at the North of Sana, the capital of Yemen Arabic Republic, was produced at a scale of 1:50.000 with 70x90 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This map was produced by Military Middle School Geography Teacher Captain Muhammet Refik in 1901.

RELIEF MAP OF CRETE AND RHODES ISLANDS

Color relief map of Crete and Rhodes Islands was produced at a scale of 1:250.000 with 91x127 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. Also relief plans of Hanya Castle on Crete Island and Rhodes Castle on Rhodes Island exist on the map. This map was produced by Military Academy Field Measurements Teacher Lieutenant Halil using the map printed in Military Academy printing house in 1883.Some information are given at the upper left corner of the map ornamented frame: Crete State is the biggest island of Mediterranean Sea between the latitudes 30-35 north and the longitudes 21-24 east (according to Paris meridian). Its population is approximately 200.000 and 80.000 of this population is Muslim and the remaining is Greek and other nations. Its surface area is 900 km2, length is 140 km. (in fact it must be 240 km.), and its width is between 10-40 km. The weather is temperate and the soil is very fruitful. The ports around this island are suitable to protect the ships. The island is at a very strategic location which is in the middle of Europe and Asia dominating the shores. Rhodes island is at latitude 36 North and longitude 26 east (according to Paris meridian) and its surface area is 1.100 km2. Its population is approximately 40.000 and half of this population is Muslim and the rest is from the other nations. Its capital city is Rhodes. Soil is very fruitful.

RELIEF MAP OF CORFU ISLAND AND PREVEZE

Color relief map of Corfu Island and Preveze was produced with 1:150.000 scale in 93x128 cm. dimensions. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. A map index of Rumeli Region is shown at the lower left part of the map. This relief map was produced by Captain Halil Ibrahim, Lieutenant Hasan Riza, Lieutenant Ali Haydar and Lieutenant Hasan Behcet in 1884-1885.

Color relief map of Halkidikya Peninsula was produced at a scale of 1:150.000 with 93x128 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This relief map was produced by Captain Halil Ibrahim, Lieutenant Hasan Riza, Lieutenant Ali Haydar and Lieutenant Hasan Behcet in 1884-1885.

Color relief map of Salonica and southwest of it was produced at a scale of 1:150.000 with 93x128 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This relief map was produced by Captain Halil Ibrahim, Lieutenant Hasan Riza, Lieutenant Ali Haydar and Lieutenant Hasan Behcet in 1884-1885.

RELIEF MAP OF ISLAND OF EGRIBOZ AND NORTH SPORAD

Color relief map of island of Egriboz and North Sporad was produced at a scale of 1:150.000 with 93x128 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This relief map was produced by Captain Halil Ibrahim, Lieutenant Hasan Riza, Lieutenant Ali Haydar and Lieutenant Hasan Behcet in 1884-1885.

Color relief map of Canakkale and its vicinity was produced at a scale of 1:76.000 with 87x128 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This relief map was produced by Captain Hasan Riza and Captain Ali Haydar 1885.

RELIEF MAP OF MARMARA SEA AND VICINITY OF IT

Color relief map of Marmara Sea and vicinity of it was produced at a scale of 1:150.000 with 92x127 cm in size. Its frame is original and the writings are in old Turkish. This relief map was produced by Captain Halil Ibrahim, Lieutenant Hasan Riza, Lieutenant Ali Haydar and Lieutenant Hasan Behcet in 1884.
